Gold, foreign currency seized at airport

Members of Airport Armed Police (AAP)) arrested a man along with 1.4 kg gold ornaments and seized Malaysian currency worth about Tk 2.03 million (20.32 lakh) at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport Saturday night, reports UNB.
The arrested man was identified as Gulam Rabbani (39) of Muradnagar upazila of Comilla.
He returned home by a flight of Singapore Airlines on Saturday night.
Police recovered 194 pieces of gold chains kept hidden inside the shoes of Rabbani.
